PASSPORT TO PIMLICO

One hot summerís day in the late 1940ís, life suddenly changes for the residents of Londonís Pimlico area when the local grocer discovers an ancient document that firmly establishes the area as part of Burgundy, in France. The fun and trouble begins when the residents realise theyíre no longer subject to British licensing laws or rationing. Passport To Pimlico pits their ingenuity and determination against the bumbling of Whitehall. Made at the legendary Ealing studios, with a superb cast, this film neatly captures Britainís carefree post-war mood.
